Neurographic Art
Is a meditative drawing technique created in Russia in 2015 that taps into one’s subconscious and relaxes the mind. Sometimes referred to as Art Therapy but seeing as I am not a licensed therapist, we will be focusing on the basic techniques and the meditative qualities of the practice. It is my hope that each person leaves the session with a contemplative way to create something unique and beautiful that leaves them feeling calm and thoughtful.
Creating your drawing is a beautiful meditative process based in mindfulness. It bypasses the rational thinking mind and is able to reach deep into hidden layers of one’s psyche. Your unconscious, ordinarily inaccessible, is opened up. New neural networks are formed in the brain. What you thought was impossible suddenly becomes a reality.
